Philip Catalfamo

Philip Catalfamo is a California native with more than 10 years of experience in broadcasting.

He began his career serving as co-host of a local high school sports talk show in his hometown right after graduating high school in 2013. Two years later, Philip left to pursue a degree in sports management at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.

In 2019, Philip graduated from GCU and began working in Cottonwood, Ariz., for Yavapai Broadcasting, serving in many roles for his station, including news editor and sports director.

Philip moved to Lincoln, Neb., in 2022 and worked for two years as an MMJ and Weekend Sports Anchor for a local station covering news and Nebraska sports. He joined 6 News as an MMJ in August 2024, eager to get into the Omaha community to share stories and cover local sports.
