A winter wonderland! Dusting of snow falls on Haleakala

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It was a winter wonderland atop Haleakala on Friday morning.
A dusting of snow fell on Haleakala’s summit overnight due to a recent disturbance.
Icy conditions were reported down to the 6,000-foot mark.
Officials warned that travel was very difficult — near impossible — due to the slippery conditions.
The summit district was closed early in the morning, but it has since been reopened. The National Park Service said there may still be some debris on the roadway.
