First Alert Traffic: Lane closures in place in Lahaina for most of January

LAHAINA (HawaiiNewsNow) - A first alert for drivers in West Maui: Lane closures will be in place in Lahaina for most of January.
The state Department of Transportation said there will be lane closures at the intersection of Honoapiilani Highway and Kapunakea Street.
Crews will install sewer lines for a new affordable housing project.
It starts Monday night at 8 p.m.
Both north and southbound lanes will be affected on and off through Jan. 28.
